Hi, I’m Holly

I provide individualised rehabilitation for my clients. My aim is to support and motivate you to work to your goals and improve your quality of life. I strive to provide the best evidence-based treatment to all my clients.

I am a chartered physiotherapist with extensive experience in treating people with neurological conditions. I qualified with a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham and went on to specialise as a neurological physiotherapist in 2004. I worked at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square, a well-recognised centre of excellence in neurology, for 15 years. I previously worked at Vancouver General Hospital in Canada, within the areas of neurosurgery and acute spinal injuries. Prior to this I worked at King’s College Hospital and The Royal London Hospital.

I completed a postgraduate master’s degree in clinical research from City, University of London in 2020 and was awarded a distinction. I have worked as a research physiotherapist, published research in a peer-reviewed journal and presented at conferences. I have supervised physiotherapists, undergraduate and master’s physiotherapy students.

I have treated people with a wide range of complex neurological conditions and have considerable experience in progressive neurological disorders, neuro-rehabilitation, neuro-surgery, stroke and spasticity management. My areas of specialist interest include rehabilitation, gait, multiple sclerosis and increasing exercise participation in people with neurological conditions. I am trained in the use of functional electrical stimulation (FES) for walking, have completed postgraduate Bobath training and am a Neuro Fit therapist.

All of the physiotherapy at Restore Neuro Rehab is provided by me. This means that you can be assured that your physiotherapy will be delivered by a highly experienced neuro physiotherapist.
